Galatina

Galatina lies in a pleasant and fertile valley, thirteen miles far from the Adriatic and Ionian Sea. A Lombard captain called Viridomaro is told to have founded the town… Galatina is one of the most beautiful towns of the province and the centre of the home trade. The Greek origins of this town are testified by its name and blazon.
