The church of San Cataldo (Cisternino)

The neo-Baroque church of San Cataldo is in Cisternino, at the end of Corso Umberto I. It was built in the second half of the 18th century, outside the town walls. Inside, after some restoration work, an underground tomb was found that is now visible thanks to the use of mirrors placed on the entrance steps. The church, which is well loved by its citizens, celebrates, every 3 February, one of the most popular religious festivals, the one dedicated to San Biagio.
